美國總統大選倒數5天，3日公布的最新民調反映情勢緊繃，民主黨候選人希拉蕊．柯林頓(Hillary Clinton)的領先優勢縮小，僅有少數選民說自己還沒決定要投給誰。
據「紐約時報」(New York Times)和哥倫比亞廣播公司(CBS)的民調，希拉蕊雖以45%的支持率，超越對手川普的42%，然領先優勢已從數周前的9個百分點縮小至3個百分點。
根據上個月的全國性民調平均，川普陷入多起性騷擾指控風暴時，希拉蕊的領先幅度擴大，最新民調則顯示川普的支持率回升。在可能投票的選民當中，6成表示那些指控幾乎不會影響他們的選擇，僅有少數受訪選民說，他們可能在最後關頭改變心意，92%的受訪者說自己已「下定決心」。
同樣地，多數選民也對當局將重新調查希拉蕊的電郵門事件無動於衷。大多數人表示，他們知道事情的發展，不過62%的人表示沒有差別。
