克里夫蘭騎士26日開幕戰以117：88痛宰紐約尼克，「小皇帝」LeBron James締造聯盟10年來第一次的開幕賽「大三元」，對他們來說，確實是個難得的夜晚。
「這真的是很棒的時刻，因為我們去年表現太好了，坦白講你很難專心在比賽上，尤其是在下半場。」James說。
騎士的球員、教練、全體隊職員都在賽前獲得總冠軍戒乙枚，James之前在邁阿密熱火時兩度「領戒日」都贏球，勝率是完美的百分百。
「今天真的有太多情緒了。」James說：「看著自己在總冠軍賽的表現，在球迷面前拿到戒指，那真是個美妙的時刻。」
James今天攻下19分、11籃板、14助攻，繼2006年Jason Kidd以來聯盟第一位開幕賽大三元，14助攻也是開幕賽史上次高，只比1963年Oscar Robertson、1953年Bob Cousy的15次少一點。
可惜的是，騎士後衛Iman Shumpert下半場撞到尼克Kristaps Porzingis摔倒，導致腦震盪，總教練Tyronn Lue表示還得經過檢查才知道有無更大傷害。
去年季中接掌騎士的Lue，今天也受到全場球迷熱烈歡迎，高呼「Lue！Lue！Lue！」，讓他倍感榮幸。
「那感覺真的很好，能夠成為這裡的一員實在很棒。」Lue說。
